I have an old Xbox Live account which I believe has auto-renew membership ON, and need to turn it OFF.

However I cannot remember the email or password linked to that account. I spoke to Xbox Support a few days back saying they need at least the email or gamer tag so that they can change anything.

Now it was a while back since I have been on that account as I reverted back to my original account. During that time my bank card cancelled and realised auto-renew would still be on. The account is no longer on my console.

I read somewhere that your account would get banned/blocked after an unsuccessful payment (because of cancelled card). Does this mean membership for Xbox Live would stop renewing automatically because it's been banned? For example; if my account was on a 12 month membership, would it still renew automatically every year even though the account would be banned/blocked?

I want an HONEST answer because it's getting me so worried, and I'm reading all sorts of stories all over the Internet about this sort of thing. I seriously don't know what I'm going to do if I can't remember the email, password or gamer tag of the Xbox Live account. If somebody can help me, it would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you.
