I have notebooks stored on my SkyDrive that can no longer be opened using the OneNote app installed. I can open the notebooks just fine and with full functionality using the web app. In the OneNote app, the issue starts with a password error and notebooks
are unable to sync. When I Close the notebooks, they cannot be opened again. I get a vague message, "We can't get to your notebooks right now. Please try again later." Nothing changes when I restart the OneNote app or when I restart my tablet. The Microsoft
server status page during these times claims that everything is running normally. The last time this happened, I waited 24 h and things worked again (without me doing anything else), but now the issue is happening again and I am very unimpressed. The web
app is ok but lacks stylus capabilities, which is very important for my work.
This never happened until the Windows 8.1 update last month. I have all Windows updates installed as well as all Lenovo driver updates.
Please tell me how this can be resolved, or at least provide a more informative error message/posted course of action for solution. Thank you.
