Using windows 10 and windows live mail 2012 for my Hotmail account. I've been slammed with junk mails. In trying to stop the barrage I deleted 2 Hotmail alias folders probably incorrectly. Now all spam goes into the inbox and can not be deleted and unknown error message box appears.

I've tried a few solutions as posted in this forum with no success. Please advise me of any successful solutions to this problem. Thanks
