Split from this thread.
I have IMAP server in Windows live Mail version 2011 Windows 7 as the normal windows server didn't allow me to use the program at all.
The server keeps terminating and can't use my 5 accounts most of the time.
Difficult to send anything as I have to use send and receive.
Then that window stays open for a very long time doing its thing going through all my accounts.
I am trying to delete folders and emails thinking they may be the problem but they don't delete.
Well, the folders aren't deleting after emptying them.
They take up 35GBs.
Window says 'Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection'.
I constantly click on it until it stops popping up.
Then the program freezes.
In the bottom left corner sometimes it says 'not connected to IMAP'.
I don't know how to contact the Exchange Server Administrator unless I am the admin being the owner of the computer?
There isn't Internet Services Manager in Administration tools to see if bandwidth is throttled.
The program is very slow in general such as opening a blank email to compose or going through the list of folders or just freezing in general.
There is another problem.
When I click on an email to read it sometimes it just disappears never to be found again.
I have to go onto Outlook to recover deleted emails.
Why?
I exported many folders to My Documents but they are still on WLM and can't delete them.
Maybe, I should just find another email program and be done with it.
Oh dear, can you help?
Thanks,
