I am signed into my Live Account but when trying to add a pop email account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) I keep getting an error saying that outlook.com could not log onto the server and to check the ID or password. I've been working this for hours and have verified
the ID and password a dozen times and know they are being typed in correctly. I've checked all of the settings to make sure they are correct too. I can go to my bellsouth.net email account, which is actually managed by yahoo.com for AT&T and I've logged
on with no problems at all. I can add an account in my "old" Outlook 2013 on my PC with no issues, but not in outlook.com. Given all of the above,it seems like an outlook.com issue, since Outlook 2013 works and adds the account just fine, which tells me
is unlikely to be the att.yahoo.com server. Please help if you can think of any way to fix this. Thanks.
