I made a new SkyDrive account for my work email, not knowing that I could simply add it as an alias. Just a few minutes later, while exploring the settings in my primary account, I noticed I could add an alias. I closed my new work email SkyDrive account
and proceeded to try to add my work email as an alias to my primary account. It would not let me, and gave me the error, "
This email address is already taken. Please try another."
When I went into the forums for help with this issue, the only answer I could find was that I would have to wait one year for the closed account to expire. I feel that this policy of having to wait a year is excessive, especially in cases like this where
the time frame was so brief.
Please, is there any way to have my closed account manually deleted so that I can add it as an alias to my personal one? Thank you.
