Cant access linked hotmail account

Hi, I have held a hotmail account for some time which had a linked account with some very important medical emails and replies.

I did try and merge the two accounts but could not do so, due to technical difficulties.

Today, I need to access the linked account but it seems to have disappeared completely, cant find it anywhere.

Please can some one help me to retrieve these emails its very important, as i have said they contain medical information.
