Hi

I am trying to install the update to Live Essentials that keeps popping up but it fails.  I have tried clean boots and uninstalling but every time I get

Couldn't install program

Couldn't install these programs: Mail, Photo  Gallery and Movie Maker

It looks like another program is preventing  the installer from working

Error 0x80070643

Couldn't update to the latest version

Couldn't install these programs: Mail

Because there was a problem updating one of the programs, none of them were updated

Error 0x80040609

I found this in a log but I can't find which one at the moment but the timings are identical to the update

Error 1714. The older version of Windows Live Installer cannot be removed.  Contact your technical support group.  System Error 1612.
