Split from this thread.

I know this is old - and I am not the person who had the original issue - however this is the only thread I have found that is not from 2012 or older - 

I get the same error - and have been using MS Fixit to systematically remove each program it was claiming was stopping me from installing WLE 2012 - But now I am at an impasse where it is saying that 'Contacts' is stopping the install - and this is confusing me. The app mentioned does not exist that I can find - and when deleting the files as you had suggested - they do not exist - there are at least 8 Windows Live folders spread through out my machine - In C:MAT, C:Program Files(x86) and in misc user folders... 

Attempting to delete all of them resulted in an error due to one of them supposedly being open or in use - although they are not - 

Now, is this a problem due to me reverting from Windows 10, back to 8.1?
