I have physical files on my Skydrive account which I can access through the website but I cannot get them to sync down/up to any local folder on my Windows 8.1 device (Surface Pro).  I have disconnected and reconnected the Hotmail address I'm using with the PC and still no go.  Also, I see no list of connected devices on my skydrive.live.com page.  This is the first time I am trying to connect, so whether this would have worked with Windows 8 Pro versus 8.1, I have no idea.
