I am on a 30 day trial of Office 365. I am trying to setup my Outlook.com account on my Mac. It is working fine on my Windows 8 laptop, but I hate lugging that beast around.

When I allow Outlook 2011 to configure my account automatically, I get this error message. "Account cannot be added. Note that Outlook 2011 requires Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Update Rollup 4 or later."

When I use manual setup using the server that my Windows machine found, snt-m.hotmail.com, I repeatedly get a popup notice that "Outlook was redirected to the server autodiscover-s.outlook.com to get the new settings for your account ....@outlook.com..." I check the checkbox to "Always use my response for this server" and click Allow. The popup returns within a few seconds.

I have tried resetting my Outlook.com password, which my Windows machine accepted without issue. I have deleted and setup the account on Outlook 2011 several times. I would like to use Outlook on my Macbook Air. How can I do that?
