I have used Windows Live Mail successfully with Win 7 for about 5 years using Comcast cable.  Recently I moved to NC and here the only cable service is Charter.  Since using Charter I have not been able to send or receive E-Mails.  I get an error message that says the connection failed.  I know the E-mail service with Charter is working because I can successfully send and receive E-mails using Charter's E-mail service.  However, I would much rather use Windows Live Mail because Charter's E-mail service is cumbersome and there is no calendar service or no E-Mail storage system.  The only thing I changed on WLM when I connected to Charter was the WLM password, which I changed to be the same as what I am using with the Charter E-mail service.  The Charter support people are unable to help me with the WLM problem since they say they are not familiar with WLM.  I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.  If it would help I could E-mail the specific error number I repeatedly get when I try to use WLM.

Thank you,

Gil Gervasi
