I am using Windows Essentials 2012 but I cannot figure out why since last night, I am unable to reply to any messages received to any of my email accounts (both pop and imap) configured on Windows Live Mail.

 

As I type a reply to a message, nothing appears on the screen and even if I send a blank message to myself, the message is received but not only shows in SENT but also stays in OUTBOX..

 

I have tried both repairing all the components of Windows Essentials 2012 and also uninstalled and re-installed the program but in vain.  What could possibly be the cause?  All my emails accounts are configured correctly, so it must a problem with the program. Can someone please assist?.

N.B. I am still running Windows 8.1
