When I click on the skydrive app, I get the message Skydrive needs update, and there are two options: quit skydrive or get update. Clicking on get update gets me the microsoft site to download the app. Doing that results in the same thing. Installation
offers no choices at this point. Just goes back to the same status without allowing to choose account or skydrive folder location. Before this happened I had encountered several problems. After being on vacation with my mac mini turned off, when I powered
up the skydrive app did not execute and did not appear to exist in my application folder. I tried reinstalling and in the process deleted my skydrive folder to get a fresh start. This resulted in deleting all files in the sky. (See previous post about that
problem). Apple support said I should be sure to turn off the app before dragging it to the trash if I was uninstalling the software, which I did. After that I got into a situation where app kept crashing and giving error messages. After reading the forum
I tried to delete everything that was connected with skydrive, and I also changed my keychain access to "allow all processes" or something to that effect. Whatever was recommended. Finally I got the app to work for half a day and then it began to do this endless
loop of asking for update without there being any update available from that choice. I really like SkyDrive and use it for pictures, household documents, and OneNote. Very nice on iOS systems to have a view of all that. But I am stymied at the moment. Any
help appreciated.
