Original Title: EML E-Mail

I have always saved my e-mails from Windows Live Mail as eml files which showed them as a little white envelope. Now, all of a sudden they save as eml but as an oblong white box with the corner turned down and I cannot open them. In view of all the confirmation e-mails from various companies, I am somewhat peeved that I have to open them in something like Word where the format is completely different and much harder to understand at a quick glance. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks.
