I  cannot get an attachment to open.  I have very old sytem with XP and Word 2002.  Someone tried to send me a resume update using Word 2010 and it wont open.  When I contacedt the help desk they suggested that   I open a Outlook email account, forward the email  to that account and then it will open.  But it doesnt, I still get the "action is only valid for products currently installed". Can anyone help?  I am out of work since April and friend are trying to help me by tweeking my resume. I tried -several times-to download the compatiblity pack for word, excel, etc file formats.  That didnt work either.
