I am trying to convert old Hi8 DV tape into AVI using the Import DV selection in Photo Gallery.

if I select break into multiple files.  Base on help it says it should break the files base on scen or dates.  In fact in the directory I did see it breaking the big file.  But then I encounter this error

photo gallery was unable to create multiple files with your imported video. your imported video has been saved as a single file

It will then delete all the files that it has broken but will then just leave the one big original file.

What am I doing wrong
