Windows Live Mail 2012

In Windows 7, everything worked fine.

Now in Windows 10, I am receiving this error when trying to download mail from one server using POP3 over SSL on port 995:

Unable to send or receive messages for the *********@********.com account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server: '********.com'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes

Nothing has changed on the server

I can download mail using a non-secured connection on port 25

I can send mail to SMTP over SSL on port 465

None of my account properties have changed

Email on a different server connects and downloads without error using these settings

I have tried with Defender turned off

I have tried with Firewall turned off

I have run out of ideas to try (except maybe rolling back to Windows 7).  Any suggestions?
