Hi

Got SO *******off with windows 8.1 I removed it an installed win7. after making a Copy of the win8 hard drive on a USB Drive.

Now installed I cannot access my windows live contacts. they have all gone. a search of the "Mirror" image too cannot locate my Contacts. What I can find are some contacts from an old version of win Vista! dated about 2007!!.

In XP for example. something like Users/"your name"/etc/etc/etc. would eventually find a file containing all the contacts. but is seems that the "NEW" versions do not save this information OR not in the same way or places?

Tried the %userprofile% etc? however my computers "backslash" brings up #!!! so I cannot access it either!

So anyone any idea`s?
