I have got an 800 number from the virtual assistant at the Microsoft Support site after logging in, and they told me it would be free of charge to get my question answered. A recording on the 800 number said that I could get paid support, if I was not interested in paying, I could go back to the Support website. Sent in a complete circle. Then I looked in the forum, there was a link, but it did not work and I was not able to download Windows Essentials.

I went back to support and asked for a call back, I got 3 calls from a number in Bellevue immediately that I did not answer because I read online that it was a scam number. Wouldn't they be calling from an 800 number? 

I just want to know if it is possible to download Windows Essentials (any version) specifically for Windows Movie Maker because I cannot get the Photos App to work properly on my Windows 10 laptop, I have all the latest updates installed. I just want to trim videos, but it locks up every time.

Is it or is it not available? I don't care if it is not supported, I just want to use it. It worked fine before I ever tried Windows 10, but unfortunately that laptop is kaput, and I am stuck with a new laptop that has lovely Windows 10 installed. Please help. I have read about many people having problems with the Photo App but none of the solutions provided help people.
