I have been using Live Mail for over two years.  Recently the system has started to reject my password when I sign on.  I get the following error message: Unable to send or receive messages for the Cinci.rr (xxxxxxxxx) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

I closed all programs and re-booted my machine.  No change

I am able to download my mail through the TWC mail website as well as on my Kindle using the same password.

I am also able to SEND messages from this account even though I cannot receive.

 I had this problem yesterday and once I sent a message, my mail all downloaded automatically.  But today it won't. 

I tried repairing the program through the console but it did not fix the problem.  I am stumped.
