The Outlook software which loads when I click the logo in my apps window presents some of the e-mail from my local POP3 account.  For duplicates of that traffic (exclusively advertising) and all other e-mail I must go through Internet Explorer, thru an MS "Live" bin, to my "Outlook.com" inbox.  And, of course, that application permits me no download option for anything I want to keep in my extensively developed local file system.

Are the two "Oulooks" connected in any way?  Can they communicate?  Can I get the traffic from the online Outlook.com to the Outlook on my machine?
