This is unhelpful (as you usual for Microsoft forums) cannot install because already installed but cannot uninstall because does not exist in programs.

So actually I have a Windows live live folder in programs (X86) which contains only two of the programs: Mail and Messenger. This is after second install which was for the purpose of allowing me to uninstall a failed installation. After which I got a message that the computer was missing wldlog.dll. Could not find help to replace the missing dll a lot of references to WLDcore.dll but not wldlog.dll. Followed thread on frustration with fixing the uninstall issue which led to looking for the wlarp.exe in the windows live file in programs (X86) which is missing on my computer and now I am here.

This reply is suggesting as an answer to install the Windows essential package -****?
