Can I skip caching when using Skydrive through Explorer in Windows 8.1?

If I want to uploader a folder with a lot of data, as I cannot upload folders to Skydrive natively (No idea why), I then try to use the Skydrive functionality of Explorer.

All this does is dump the 10GB elsehwere and then uploads.

Can I disable caching so it uploads directly?

I am likely going to have to use Google Drive if there is no way around this as that does not cache.
