As both Messenger & Mesh are, or will soon be, defunct and I have never knowingly used them anyway - is it possible and SAFE now to uninstall them from my PC to save space?

Are there any elements or shared bits that will still be needed for SkyDrive?

Will Microsoft remove them with a Windows Update in the future?
