I would like to have Windows Live Messenger on my Windows 8. How do I get it ?? It had so many great features like categorizing family, friends, smileys, options to show "away, available, busy, etc". Will it ever come back ?? I like being able to have that option to choose to open messenger and chat simply coz I want to. With the Windows 10 coming up in a month's time, will there be something similar happening soon. I don't like the options I have now..... Skype integrated into messenger. Its good but then that option to have the "chatbox" open isn't there anymore. I see what I want on whatsapp. But then not everyone has whatsapp. Also not everyone has Skype. And facebook isn't connected to Hotmail anymore. So, cant we have messenger and then have an opton to add friends from all these great apps like Skype, whatsapp, facebook, yahoo, etc to be able to see me on messenger. It was great to have windows live messenger.
