Hi

I have a website which allows those interested to register with me (name e-mail address etc|) . Lately, bots are far outnumbering humans in doing this. And the bots are all using Hotmail addresses. An example is given below:


email:   *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
name:   cqaifgcfq

Luckily, all registrants have to verify their email address (by responding to a confirmation email that we send out). They never do because they are bots.
How can I stop this? Or probably more responsibly, how can Microsoft weed out these false users and prevent them from clogging up websites across the world?
