I am being harrassed by a women who i've known from the past. The emails will not stop, which are threatening, and she is attempting to extort me.  I contacted the police and they basically said just ignore the email however they cause me great anxiety. I would just delete my email account but I worry she will start using my account if i delete it and try to contact my friends and family that way. So I guess my question is;


Is there anyway that hotmail can permenantly delete an account so that the email address can never be reused (if i were to close my account so not one can ever use it again)

Is there any way hotmail can stop an account from sending or recieving email (i would be interested in doing this to my account)

I would ask to block her IP however I am sure she will use phones, friends computer, work comps etc, to contact me. She has used over 30 email address to harrass me.
