Hi,

#1 - Since I use an anonymous screen name in forums et al - I wrote up a document that I want to share anonymously in the MS Communities.  When I "Get Link" for a file that I share in Public Folder and then send that link out - people can't see my SkyDrive name ( which uses my formal name ) - however when they are done and click the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the viewable document/browser window they get to see my full name and then they can click around and see a bunch of other profile metadata about me that I don't want them seeing.  This is just a rudimentary test I did with a co-worker and they verified that you can see User data. I think you should allow SkyDrive users to post anonymously.  Right now  I dont like or want this - can you fix this ?

#2 - Also how much file metadata is shared this way ?  For eg. in Windows I see File Properties which has a lot of metadata that goes along with a file - how much of this makes its way into SkyDrive when you share it via a "Get Link" (URL) - and how much is shared when the document is made "Public" ?  As you can guess I would rather not have to worry about scrubbing/changing a file's metadata when I'd like to share it anonymously...

I am using SkyDrive for Web, I just downloaded SkyDrive app for Windows 7 system I have here and I also have the SkyDrive app on WindowsPhone8.  However for this discussion I am using SkyDrive for Web which is where I noticed this behavior.

Until you can fix #1 and answer/fix #2 this I will be testing DropBox, Box and GoogleDrive to see if they also reveal user data or they allow truly anonymous posting to protect user identity.  I think its fair that you reveal your findings for all SkyDrive apps in this context of anonymity.. I cant believe that I am the only person whose asking about this..

Thanks
