I moved to WLM 2012 in 2013, and it wiped out thousands of my old messages.
I updated to Windows 10 on my main desktop.
I want to continue to use WLM 2012 on this machine, as well as my Windows 8 second desktop.
Does this absolutely incomprehensible message and subsequent gongshow mean I HAVE to do something to continue to use WLM 2012 on Windows 10?
What exactly do I need to do?
How do I back up all the content on WLM 2012 so that it can be retrieved (and not automatically synced and messages erased if MS screws this up again?)
One last question. I read that OUTLOOK, the program bundled with Office 365 is like the old Outlook Express, and like WLM 2012 in how it displays and stores messages and folders from multiple Hotmail, outlook and gmail accounts. When I try to open it from my Windows 10 App files, it just freezes and crashes. Is this a viable option to WLM 2012? I am HAPPY to pay for a good, reliable mail program that stores all my old emails both on my hard drive and in the online email accounts.
