I logged into my account yesterday evening - having also logged in, in the morning - to find I had 0 messages....no files no folders no emails totally eradicated! I have tried to restore the emails - it says there are none to restore. Their (MICROSOFT) response originally was that my account had become inactive! This is ridiculous I use the account every day - it is constantly logged in on my iPhone and iPad.....They have given me no resolution. My account has not been hacked...I am not using the POP3 thing they keep mentioning, and my account was NOT inactive! Not only have I lost personal files but I have also lost invoices and bills from all my utility, phone and internet providers. I have spoke to 3 different advisers and this was the most recent response (please see below). He had no answer for me so he ended the chat. How is this 'CUSTOMER SERVICE'???????? I have come to terms with the fact that I will never retrieve anything that has been lost, however I have a close personal friend who works for a national newspaper and she is more than happy to publish a large spread regarding this issue. As now I have done some research I have found that I am most definitely not the only person this has happened to. Whether it be all or partial emails being deleted. So more than anything I would like any other people who have been affected to reply so we can take action. They are providing a service which we trust, and then they totally stab us in the back! So if people could let me know their experiences it would be much appreciated! I cannot just let this lie!
