All my emails are gone, and new emails only stay for a day

I have had Hotmail for almost ten years and I have lost all of my emails.

Also, my inbox only keeps email for a few days before they are deleted.  Only about 10 to 15 emails are left, all from only a few days ago.

Could someone please fix this?  

There are a lot of important emails that I have lost.
