So my first email account as a kid was an @msn.com one, which I've only been logging in to sporadically over the last years to see if anyone is still sending me messages there. Now I haven't used it in a close to a year and when I now try logging in to my account, all I see is an empty inbox with the "welcome to your new outlook" message. Did MS just delete all of my emails? I tried recovering things from the deleted folder, but nothing happened.

From this board, I can see this has been has happened to quite a few people. Did anyone succeed in getting your emails restored?
