After many years without hassle from Hotmail I have now lost years of important information thanks to Microsoft Outlook which I did not need or want in the first place!

Whenever the Inbox gets a little full somewhere something decides it is time to pack the emails into a POP file.

When the next time it decides to pack them away, it empties the current POP folder and places the later emails in there. Where do my old emails go?

I should decide when and how I should clean my folders after all I am paying for this service.

I sincerely hope you can recover my files.

NB: Going into my deleted folder will only undelete the files that I have deleted - not the ones in the POP folder that you have deleted.

All my settings were also as you recommend.

I would like to know who had the right and authority to remove these files without my consent. I had some important legal documents kept there since I thought they would be safe. I often email myself to keep important information. Stupid Me!

If you can't recover my emails and are unable to prevent and guarantee this "automatic POP" folder from deciding to clean out my Inbox, I will find somebody who can provide a secure service, even if it costs more!
