i just checked my hotmail account this morning through the web browser and discovered that all emails older than a week (Oct 17, 2013 and older) have been deleted from the inbox. there must've been a few hundred emails there. i checked the deleted folder
and it's not there. is it gone because of maintenance? i check the account on a daily basis through iphone and through the web browser.
i think my account was hacked about 2 months ago. someone used our email as an alias to send out spam. no record of the outgoing emails from that. i think they just used the alias. but that was over a month ago and i changed the password on the account.
any options for retrieving these emails?
