I have been using Windows Livemail for some years. I am aware that MS no longer supports it but lets people use it if they wish.
Then last Wednesday 14 March 2018, I noticed that after the Windows Update, the contents of my Livemail folders (Livemail, Messenger, Writer) had disappeared. The folder names were left intact (in the Windows System folder) but empty.
So why did the wretched Update do this? Don't they know that Livemail can still be used if you have got it?
So many of my folders, list of contacts etc are gone.
My questions:
1) Is it possible to reverse the Update and recover my files & folders?
2) Can Update be instructed to leave Livemail alone?
I hope somebody can offer encouraging news.
