Adding animations (not visual effects) to my individual project slides changes my movie length slightly, (less than one second) and so from that slide on, the sync is all off for the remainder of the show.  The duration reading for the slide is unchanged, so if the slide was three seconds before, it reads three seconds after as well, but it really changes after about 2.47 seconds, and the TOTAL project length does change to reflect the "lost" .53 seconds.

This may sound like a small change, but when you are matching up lyrics to pictures, it changes everything, especially after you start changing several frames.  You can end up several seconds off after very little editing.

Which can make your wife angry when the audio is singing about a dog and her picture pops up a couple of seconds too early.  I need to fix this.

What I want to do is be able to add/edit animations WITHOUT changing the total length of time in the slide.  Any ideas?

Thanks for reading
