I've been trying to migrate my old emails to Outlook.com from my old MS Outlook 2013 pst file. One would expect that this would be a fairly simple process, but it's fair to say that it is incredibly difficult. To make matters more confusing, neither Outlook 2013, nor 2010 appears to be syncing correctly with Outlook.com. We are halfway through emailing all our old contacts to advise them of the change in our email address, and suddenly we've been locked out of our account with a message that MS thinks it may have been hacked. It's highly unlikely it's been hacked - it's just me trying to get Outlook to work properly. I was able to get a code to reactivate the account, but then the system wants me to change my password. I don't want to change my password as it's used in lots of places and for logging in to each of my Windows 8 computers. I specifically chose the option to not make me change my password every 72 days.. How can I have my account re-activated without having to change my password?
