I have 4K clips which I would like to edit in windows movie maker, however as soon as I try and import them, the program crashes and forces me to shut it down. Is there any way to work around this, by compressing the video quality to 1080 (no lower!), using a separate program, or using a different editor (which has to be free), or using MM in a different way. I am not all to experienced in movie editing, and I just need to stick together a couple of clips, so nothing to complex! Any help is appreciated :-)
