0x80240021 Error

My laptop keeps running into the error 0x80070490, but when I go into command prompt and put in DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth I always get this error 0x80240021 WU_E_TIME_OUT Operation did not complete because it timed out. My operating system is Windows 8. Is there a way to fix this?
