I have a laptop with no disc drawer, and came loaded with Windows 8.1. I have restored from a dates weeks ago, and updates all installed. I have uninstalled Live Essentials and re-installed from the Wayback Machine site. I have went to Windows Store and it shows installed. I have went to uninstall programs and repaired. I have followed other forum fixes, and I still cannot get my email (Mail) to open. It starts, then flashes, then closes. I also have various Live Essentials that do the same.
I am currently being processed 30 days for updating my Outlook.com profile info because I lost my password.
I know that Win 8.1 is no longer being supported since 01/2017, but I cannot afford a new laptop with Win 10. Like so many of us that cannot upgrade their computer.
Please Help me!!

Hi, I am geeting the error "Sorry. Something unexpected happened and Windows Live Mail must close."
I saw a thread that suggested a solution may be to uninstall Live Essentials, then reinstall.
I would like to know if I will lose all my emails if I do this?
Thanks,
Jeff
