My Windows Live Mail has stopped working for one of the E-mail accounts. Not sure why. But the provider, 1and1.co.uk states that its better to shift from POP3 to IMAP but I am not able to do this. So how to do this? Or any other idea why its not working.

The mail icon on my computer is blank. When I hover over it, it seems to know it is a mail app, but there is nothing there? My notifications pop up as new mails come in so it is there somewhere in the background but I can't access the mails?
On more than one occasion I send an email only to find that when I go to find it, it is listed in 'Sent Emails', but when I click on it to read, a message appears "Message Cannot Be Found"....what is going on and how do I retrieve these messages when this happens?
I just get the last Windows 10 updates from Microsoft .

I performed a check and I found the new 3D Builder but no Story remix.
