I am having a problem with my system's sound using Movie Maker.

I am running Windows 10 on my ASUS laptop and every time I playback my video that i have been editing, my PC's sound immediately gets muted. I have tried detecting the problems and no problems were found and my volume was at its max and there was still no sound. This only happens with Movie Maker in Windows 10. Is there a bug within Movie Maker or is it just my PC?

My pictures are crystal clear, until I just added songs to the slideshow. Now they are all distorted and unreadable where I added context. Why???

Alright, so I've been making music videos for a TV show on WMM. I understand the splitting and trimming thing completely, I use them all the time and never have an issue. But now I've started a new video and I'm having problems with frames, that I've already removed, showing back up after its been rendered. I'll have the project open, everything will look great, and I'll render it. After it's rendering I'll view it and there's frames I've removed showing up everywhere. I go back to the project, and they're not there. I've even slowed the playback down to 0.125X and the frames are not there. Again, it's only after rendering. The project I'm currently on I've rendered, found the extra frames, and went in to edit the rendered version, taking out all the frames, and rendering again, only to see the frames back. I'm at a loss. Everywhere I look with questions on removing frames shows the simple split or trim fix, I've done that already. Those frames were gone, until it rendered. I recently had problems with clips that were doing fine suddenly going green on me. That has since stopped, that's not the issue here, it's just these extra frames all of a sudden.

The rendering specs are as follows (if it matters): 1920 X 1080, Bitrate: 24,000 kbps, 29.97 frames per second.

These are the default specs for the HD Display option when rendering. I have done a custom setting adjusting the bitrate (I have no idea if that'll do anything with the problem it was just to check and see, and of course, the frames are still there).

Edit: Had a friend asking question, so I made a quick video of what the issue is. I already explained it all here, but just in case this helps, the video can be found here.

Hi,

I have been making a movie in windows movie maker in windows 10. I imported the videos into my movie directly from the camera, then when I unplugged the camera it said that my files were corrupt and needed to be deleted.

I realize that this is because I removed the source of the videos because when I plug the camera back in and press fix on each of the videos, it fixes them.

What I want to know is, how can I change the original source of the videos without altering my movie so that I can play the videos in my movie without having my camera plugged in. I was wondering if I could move the videos into a new folder on my computer and then re link the videos in my movie to there.

-thanks

I don't understand why my videos wont show up, all they show is a black picture. Funny thing is I was working on it and everything was fine. I saved my project and went to school. when i opened it again some videos just showed black and the others play. when i finally publish the video they actually show in the finale. But its hard to work on it when i cant see nor hear my videos. Its weird cause sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesnt at all. I dont know what to do. I havent deleted any programs and im sure i have the latest WMM. Any suggestion why it might be doing this and how can i fix it? I dont want to restart my project when the videos are technically fine. Also side note: if i delete the video and put it back on it justs stay black still, i never deleted the videos off my computer and all the videos were working fine until i saved and exit out.
