Question about Outlook Express

I had a computer crash and had to reload WLM, now on:  Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331).

The font for just looking at WLM (folders on the left mail listed to the right) is smaller than I generally like.  This is also true in looking at an individual email.

I looked around the suggestion was to use the Options/Mail/Compose (under the blue box to the left top of screen) - but it appears to me that this only sets the defaults for mail one is going to compose - not for the general viewing screen.  Under the view tab, there doesn't seem to be a place to change the font appearance.  

Alternate suggestions??

Totally mystified with this situation:  .doc or .docx files containing a photo and sent as an attachment from  Windows 10 VIA Live Mail 2012 - to a recipient's Windows 7 with live Mail 2012   arrives with a .dat file attached!  

After importing pictures/videos from my Iphone, Windows gallery wont erase pictures/videos from my Iphone
