A couple of weeks ago I had to create a new user account on my PC, which meant that I lost all of my Windows Live Mail (WLM) log-in information. I have been happily using WLM for the last 2 years, but now it will not allow me to log in.
I have also tried using Outlook, and have the same problem. It will not accept my password. I am able to log into Outlook.com, but cannot access my email through WLM.

Tried to open Live Mail in Windows 10, upgraded last week. Box came up saying I needed to login to Live Mail. I used my e-mail password several times before I realized it needed my Microsoft Account password.
Finally get logged in, and all my e-mails have been scrambled, they are all "%#0;" and have empty text files attached. Subject lines and senders are the only part readable.
I believe new e-mails are coming in okay, but I've only gotten a couple.
I assume these e-mails are gone forever, right? Some of them were kind of important.....
Can someone tell me why this happened? And why do I need my Microsoft Account password to get my Charter e-mail?

I have this problem to.
I was making a video earlier today and saved it as a wlmp file on my laptop. I checked the file before closing it in the morning and it was playing without any problem.
When I tried to re-open the same file now (on the same laptop), it is not opening. I am getting the following error message:
"Sorry, Movie Maker can't open this project file. The file might not be compatible with Windows Live Movie Maker or be corrupted. Please select a different project file."
How can I open this project in Windows Live Movie Maker?
Can Microsoft please help urgently as I have been working on this file for the last 1 week and had to deliver it by tomorrow?
I have uploaded the file to the SkyDrive?
There was a power-cut at my house and since then my Windows live mail 2012 does not work.
Windows Live Mail 2012 just hangs when I start up the application.
It says "Starting with a blue circle spinning but never starts up".
Sometimes it comes with a 0x800CCC0D Error Code. other times it just hangs.
I have tried a repair several times, but no changes with starting up the application.
I have Uninstalled the Windows Essentials with following the steps advised by previous posts, and then re-installing Windows Essentials but the problem still persists.
I am able to successfully send mail from windows live mail when with the right click option but opening up the application does not work.
I tried a system restore as well but problem still persists.
I have tried every-thing and really don't know what else to do.
can someone please help me.

I have problems when using 'reply all', and yesterday when using a saved email address. Copies of my emails are being sent to people in my address book who are not listed within the addresses selected, but who have similar names. For example, 'Nicola Browne' was also sent to 'Nicola Smith'. A surname 'Kisby' was also sent to a christian name 'Kizzie'. This has now happened on several occasions. Why is it doing this?
