I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and I have had windows live mail for many years and have never had any problems with it. I have 2 accounts with wlm the first and main account I have no problems with but the secondary account I can't retrieve any emails from it. I get the following error every time I log into my email:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (-------) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

I tried following a post that said to download the fix it file windowslivemaildiagnostic.diagcab but it didn't work. Are there any other suggestions that might help.

In my Pictures library I have 2 main categories; Pictures and Videos.  Under the Pictures category, I have 2 subcategories 'My Pictures' and 'My Videos'.  The videos included in 'My Videos' are duplicated under the main Videos category.  Is this a duplication of data and should I delete one of these?

Recently, the email service provided by my ISP has been changed so that emails that the service believes are spam are automatically directed to the spam folder instead of the Inbox. It used to be possible to get all emails sent to the Inbox, but now some of my emails are in the spam folder on the mail server. This presents a problem for my email client (Windows Live Mail).

I normally access my emails from my desktop machine, but sometimes I use Windows Live Mail on my laptop to preview new emails before I get a chance to download them onto my desktop, where I store them. I have tried using IMAP, but emails fetched to my laptop are marked as read on the server, so they do not get fetched to my desktop when I subsequently try to fetch them on that machine. To solve this issue, I use POP3, which does not mark the emails as read on the server.

The problem is the emails with the ISP's email server has decided are spam and put into the server's spam folder. POP3 does not normally fetch emails from the spam folder. The ISP does not admit to a way of disabling their new spam filter. Is there a way of getting POP3 to download emails from folders other than the Inbox?

Any advice will be welcome.

Sunday morning at about 8:00, I turned on my home computer.  I opened my Windows mail and saw several hundred old messages that I had not yet deleted/filed.  There were 25-50 new messages that had arrived overnight.  Before my very eyes, they ALL began to delete themselves.  I checked the junk files, the deleted files, and anything else I could think of.  I rebooted the computer...they were still gone.  After church, I called my local service provider.  They checked all my email settings and everything was O.K.  The emails missing from Windows mail WERE/ARE still found on their server and I can see them, open them and delete them as I choose.  They suggested I call Microsoft.

Monday I called Microsoft and before I could go any further, I had to BUY a service package for $149.00.  One hour and 15 minutes later, I was told this person could not help me and would move my problem to the next level of technical support.    I just got off the phone(45 more minutes) with someone I could not understand and there was so much background noise that hearing anyone would have been impossible.  They also could not help me and referred me to this chat site.  By the way, since 8:00 Sunday morning, new emails have been coming thru like normal.  I would just like to get the old ones restored.

Is this what I got for my $149.00???

how do i know if this is real of fake?

I am currently running Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 14.5.6 and all of a sudden, all my emails disappeared from all mail boxes.  I checked the sync and did a file repair with no avail.  I can send emails but not receive or see previously received, sent, junk or deleted emails.  Was working fine before the previous release. Is someone else having the same issue?
