I do not want the emails from my server to automatically download to my Windows Live Mail until I request it by the send/receive function. In Windows Mail there was a way to do this but I cannot find anywhere in Windows Live Mail to choose that option.

I understand how to change the font size and colour in WLM. However the white background is hard on the eyes. Can it be changed?
Also the status bar at the bottom of the page ("number of messages", "working online" etc) is a pale blue font on a blue background. Extremely difficult to read. Can this be changed or moved?
I recently bought new computer. My documents were in microsoft office format. Now I have windows 10. I cannot translate old documents into new format. I bought wordperfect office x7, old documents still wont open. I emailed documents to myself as pdf file
- now I can open the documents, but I cannot edit them. How do I translate pdf files into wordperfect format? Or, how do I translate Microsoft office documents into wordperfect format?
Since upgrade to Win 10 from Win 7, live mail will often 'stick' at the start page (essentials 2012)
If I repair essentials and reboot it will eventually start and then inform me that mail did not close properly last time and will display some random email I have received as a possible problem.
Can anyone help?
