I have my email organized into folders.  I have a new windows 7 64 bit computer and want to move Mail live (with the email in its separate folders) to my new computer from my old.  Both computers are Win 7 - 64 bit and both have Mail Live 2012 installed.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi,

I am using Window 10 with Movie maker - Window essential 2012 version. I encountered  error message : 0X887A0005 when saving the project under MPEG4. Step 1 was run until 97% and then the error message appears. I tried to update the Window essential 2012 and got the same result. What is the issue?

When I set up a new email account on WLM using IMAP it created 13 files.   One of them is called .ERROR and it has 3 different types of junk files and several others that look to do the same thing.    In the past I just got inbox, sent items, deleted items, junk mail.    Maybe it has to do with IMAP vs. POP.   Not sure.

Thanks

Original Title: .ERROR file

I want to edit an .m4a audio (only) clip recorded on my Samsung phone with Movie Maker. Can I do this? How do I do this? Please use simple words...

I have just bought a new Windows 10 laptop.  I am using Windows Live Mail and have copied the settings from my old laptop to the new one and am able to receive emails.  However, I cannot send any.  They are returned with the message: 'We weren't able to send this message, so we've put it in your Drafts folder. Before you try sending it again, you can check to see if the address is correct and that no attachments are too large.'

I have tried sending two emails and they both came back with that message. Both addresses are correct and neither email has an attachment.

When I go to the account settings for the POP3 account, I cannot find the place to check what the settings are for the port numbers.

The other thing I can't find is a 'check all mail now' button.

Please tell me how to unsubscribe from feeds in Windows Live Mail (using Windows 7). The only on-line answer I could find was no help (i.e. go to email inbox and find RSS feeds - I couldn't find it). Help, I never intentionally asked for these feeds and they are using up all my data allowance.

Got this email: Dear user,  In a few weeks, we will be making some changes to our email services that might impact your @outlook.com, @hotmail, @live, or @msn email account. Those changes will prevent your email from being delivered to the Windows Live Mail 2012 application you use. In order to continue using Windows Live Mail 2012 to send and receive email for your account, you need to install the latest update published http://communication.microsoft.com/Key-6859401.C.rTvf.N.K4.-.nFYqRtX. If you use Windows Live Mail 2012 on Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, we recommend that you switch to the built in Mail app in Windows to stay connected and get the latest feature updates on http://communication.microsoft.com/Key-6859401.C.rTvf.P.K4.-.nFNfN8V, and http://communication.microsoft.com/Key-6859401.C.rTvf.Q.K4.-.nFJHLvT.

I am running Windows 10 with Windows Live Mail 2011. WLM is currently working but the message makes me believe it will stop soon.

This is the file from the email that I tried to install:
d-mail.msp (1) from Microsoft. I got it from the link in the email.

Got this message: The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be updated may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.

It seems that I must have skipped a patch, but how do I find the patch that it needs prior to loading the current one?

Thank you!!
