Question about Outlook Express

OK, so I read the instructions on how to rotate a video with MS Movie Maker.

Good news - it worked.

Bad news - I can't figure out how to save my rotated file as an mp4.

How do I do this simple task? Looks like only option in movie maker is to save as a project.

Went off on holiday and returned to find my computer was unable to access my emails. I hadn't done anything but it keeps saying wrong user name/password and I have just reset it all, checked it and still it won't let me in. I can get my emails on via web or phone. What's miscrossoft's problem.?

Just wanted to let the people here know if they got stuck on Wlm on how to place their email on the site and also let the msn team know just incase they read this that I found the solution to a Window live mail problem that I had. I didn't give up on getting the mail to download on wlm and start looking really hard around the internet and found this: http://www.guidingtech.com/24443/outlook-com-imap-windows-live-mail/

I bought this laptop specifically to use windows movie maker and worked fine after download when operating on windows 8.1  After being requested numerous times to do so I upgraded to windows 10 and can no no longer use Movie maker.   I have tried many times to download it since and am fast reaching the point of defection to the 'Apple'

I cannot understand why I would be pestered to do an upgrade to a system that makes my pictures difficult to access and video editing impossible.   I don't make purchases over the internet for personal reasons so I need to use Movie maker.

I have tried downloading it many many times from that rude microsoft site that says 'if you must have it here it is'  but it won't work.  Whether I try to download just movie and gallery or all of windows essentials I cannot seem to get it.  It says it has downloaded but is nowhere to be found on the pc and believe me I have looked for it.

I have been a fan of windows and microsoft since 3.1 but I cannot fully express how disappointed I am with then now without resorting to language I don't use.  I have seen other posts about it but they are not helpful for my problem.  

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've begun to use WPG 2012 when I upgraded my Win7 to Win10.  We're working on a large project to scan old photos into the digital world while also sorting out our digital camera photos.  We've decided to eliminate a folder structure to sort media and instead use tags in the EXIF area of our JPEG files.  Therefore, we have a LOT of files in one folder, currently about 15,000.  When done with this project we'll have upwards of 30,000.

While WPG 2012 is a nice program I've been annoyed by one particular anomaly.  While browsing my media library with WPG, I sort by date taken and group by date taken.  I view thumbnails.  This provides an nice timeline journey through the library.  The annoyance is that thumbnails are often just grey rectangles, or lower than normal resolution thumbnails.  The offending files WILL present thumbnails correctly if I change to other sorts, views, or choose a different folder in my Pictures Library, therefore the thumbnail data IS somewhere on the PC, it just isn't being refreshed by WPG as I scroll through files.  The issue is NOT with any particular file.

Right clicking on the white area of the thumbnail window and choosing REFRESH does nothing to fix this problem.

Renaming to save, and then rebuilding the .PJ6 files does not fix this issue, and causes more issues.  Thank goodness I saved the old .PJ6 and restored it.  BTW, the issue with rebuilding was that WPG would not read the correct Date Taken in the EXIF for many of the correctly tagged files, and instead show a Date Taken of August 22, 2012.  I have no idea what's significant about that date.

So, I'm thinking the current 2012 iteration of WPG is buggy.  Perhaps beyond a certain number of files in a folder it chokes when one scrolls through thousands of files quickly.

Any insight to this issue would be appreciated.

If at least MS provided the ability to click on a group of grey rectangles and chose to "REFRESH THUMBNAIL", this would alleviate my concern.
