Using win live mail it locked up when I tried deleting an attachment. I don't want to loose the email, how can I save it?
hi all-I have windows7/ie11 and AVG virus protector-do I really need the security essentials program or should I disable.

If you are getting error messages that you cannot send or receive emails or the server has timed out and have tried to change your settings, the help files have been incorrect regarding the ports to use. I changed my incoming port to 25 and the outgoing
to 110. uncheck the ssl box for outgoing mail. all the other instructions are correct. always use your full email address whenever asked for your name. I did this 4-8 and so far everything works.

There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.
Does anybody have any idea what's going on and how to fix it? If Microsoft is doing away with Windows Live Mail, what are we supposed to use now for our email?

I have an email acct through cox.net and I view the emails using Windows Live. I added a new email account under outlook.com. I added this e-mail acct to windows live. I used the same pop and smpt server addresses that are currently used for my cox.net account. I see a tab for the new acct on windows live. When I attempt up get e-mails the program constantly prompts me for username and password but it will not accept my password. Did I add this new acct incorrectly?

So, I have a message that is stuck in my Outbox, it cannot be sent as it is corrupted. It cannot be deleted, either. I tried chat help, but since they don't support Live Mail anymore, they have directed me to here.

We have the same problem but in Another way.
We are using Windows Live Mail but the Contact tab cant be selected, nothing happens. When we create a new mail and click on the to field all Contact that we had pop up. Can a make a copy of them Before reinstall the mail accout we can´t loose them.
